Frequently Asked Questions

All 5 partners are currently active or recently retired sports car drivers.  All have taught or are still teaching at professional schools for well over two decades.  We love the racing environment and want to bring the fun and challenge to you. Hill Climb events are our introductory events.  These are fast paced all out runs up and down the demanding Horse Thief Mile race course at Willow Springs International Raceway.  Cars are classified by year, engine displacement, 2wd, 4wd etc.  Car clubs and groups are encouraged and can grouped to run in the same run group as a friendly competition.  Half way through the event the tracks changes and off you go again will an entirely new set of corners and challenges.  Corner/ safety workers, paramedics and vehicle tow services are all provided.   Awards are given to the top 3 places in all categories. This is an outstanding way to learn car control and test your abilities in a safe controlled environment.        

Anyone with a valid drivers license, approved helmet and a car that meets minimum safety standards.  You may share a car with a co-driver well, and run in separate run groups.  Minors without a license may be permitted please email us with qualifying information @ group5motorsports@yahoo.com
